내 우분투 소프트웨어 소스
우분투 설치 후 sourcelist 편집하는게 일이다 보니 효율성을 조금 높이기 위해 적어둘 필요를 많이 느끼게 되어 적는다. 참고로 이 source들은 ubuntu tweak을 통해 추가한 list도 포함되어 있으며 인증은 그때 그때 알아서 받아야 한다.

Dropbox for Linux
Linux 버전 Dropbox 설치 및 키 인증(key authentication) 방법이 자세히 나와 있다. Linux는 크게 Ubuntu와 Fedora로 구분하고 있으며, compile 할 수 있도록 source도 다운받을 수 있도록 제공하고 있다.

그리고 혹시라도 ‘NO_PUBKEY FC918B335044912E’라는 메시지를 접할 경우의 해결책은 아래 링크 하단부에서 확인 가능하다.

확인하러 가는 것이 귀찮다면, 터미널을 열어 ’sudo apt-key adv –keyserver pgp.mit.edu –recv-keys 5044912E’ 명령줄을 입력해도 되고.
우분투 vmware 내 xp에서 한영키로 한영전환이 안될 때
현재는 작동하지 않는다. VMware Player Version 3.1.0 build-261024에서!!!
터미널에서 아래 명령줄을 입력 후
sudo vi /etc/vmware/config
vi 창에서 다음 두 줄을 추가하고 저장한다.
xkeymap.keysym.Hangul = 0×0f2
xkeymap.keysym.Hangul_Hanja = 0×0f1
우분투 Firefox 3.6 한글 xpi 파일
우분투 9.10에서 Ubuntu Tweak을 이용하여 설치할 수 있는 Firefox 3.6의 한글화 파일, ko.xpi는 아래 링크에서 다운받으면 된다.

웹하드를 이용하기 위해 다운로드 툴을 설치해서 잘 이용한 후 자신의 PC 리소스가 100% 가까이 올라가는 경우가 발생하거나 혹은 의심되는 프로그램들이 있을 경우에는 아래 사이트에 들어가서 의심가는 프로그램 이름을 입력하면 프로그램을 제작한 곳과 현재 경로까지 알려주는 아주 유용한 곳이다.

우분투에서 Unknown encoder ‘libmp3lame’ 메시지 뜰 경우
인터넷에서 다운받은 .flv 파일을 .avi 파일 등으로 변환하기 위해 ‘WinFF’라는 프로그램을 우분투에서 사용 중인데, 이 프로그램에서 동영상 변환 시 Unknown encoder ‘libmp3lame’라는 메시지가 뜬 후 변환이 안되는 경우가 발생할 수 있다. 이때 해결법은 아래 명령줄 입력 후 Enter 쳐주면 된다.
sudo apt-get install ffmpeg libavcodec-extra-52

Ubuntu에 man 추가
sudo apt-get install manpages-dev
저 명령어를 터미널에서 입력하면 된다.
우분투에서의 듀얼 모니터 설정
개인적으로 사용하는 노트북에는 nvidia가, 사무실에서 사용하는 데스크탑에는 ati가 설치되어 있다. 그런데, 어찌어찌해서 둘 다 우분투(9.10 64bit) 하에서 듀얼 모니터 설정에 성공하였는데, 나중에 다시 하라고 하면, 잊어먹을 확률이 큰 것 같다.
그래서 각각의 설정값(?), 혹은 설정 이름(?)을 적어놓는다. 물론, 듀얼 모니터 설정은 각각의 vga 설정 프로그램을 이용했다.
